Dunhill cigars have a rich history throughout the entire 20th century. Alfred Dunhill, founder of Dunhill cigars, opened his first tobacco shop in 1907 on Duke Street in London. Dunhill quickly became famous in England, racking up distribution deals with many Cuban manufacturers. Dunhill cigars were actually the cigar of choice for Winston Churchill, as well as George VI, the last British King to be the King of Ireland as well as the last Emperor of India. Dunhill maintained his relationship with the Communist Cuban government after the revolution, partnering with Cubatabaco. Dunhill created many famous blends during this era, such as Don Candido, Don Alfredo and La Flor del Punto.
